nail talk: spring picks.

Well this is the most fun I've had with nail polish... since the last time I painted my own nails (see: Saturday night)! Before I dive in and gush about all of these colors, I have to talk about an honorable mention. Essie 'Play Date' is by far my favorite color. BUT AT THE MOMENT, IT IS MISPLACED. Possibly lost. Forever. Until I run down the street to CVS and buy another bottle. I'll make bedroom eyes over at Butter London 'Knackered', and tell you the story about Chanel 'Nouvelle Vague' and how it started this nail polish obsession eventually, but Play Date takes the cake. Stop reading this right now and go google swatches of Play Date, then you'll understand why.

It will be easiest for me to start with the brown shade and work my way clockwise, so here we go!

1. 505 Particulière by Chanel
2. Bossy Boots by Butter London
3. Turqouise & Caicos by Essie
4. 527 Nouvelle Vague by Chanel
5. Mint Candy Apple by Essie
6. Borrowed & Blue by Essie
7. Barefoot & Blue by Essie
8. Purple with a Purpose by OPI
9. Muggins by Butter London
10. I Lavendare You! by Flower
11. Knackered by Butter London
12. Sparrow Me The Drama by OPI
13. Trout Pout by Butter London
14. Kensington Palace Gardens by Nails Inc.
15. Willow by Zoya
16. Arizona by Zoya
17. Buttercup by Revlon
18. Mimosa by Chanel

If you want a more in-depth review on any one of these colors, do let me know! I wouldn't mind writing up a feature on any of them. The greens and the one grey-brown photographed a lot differently than I thought they would, but you know, this is just another reason to add in my reason/fund jar for a new DSLR camera. Canon, I'm coming for you.

xx

    1. I've heard around the blogosphere before that Essie collections internationally, outside of the States, are sometimes different, that we have different colors. I'm pretty positive this is a permanent color, and it's pretty easy to find around drugstores and department malls in the US. Could it be that they never introduced it overseas? I would mail you one myself, that's how much I love it. xx
